One of the first things children learn about water is that it is all connected.
The very small streams and wetlands higher up in a watershed feed into larger lakes and rivers, which eventually lead to our Oceans. Because of this connection, and the fact that more than 110 million people rely on them for drinking water sources, our small streams and wetlands have been protected under the Clean Water Act for more than three decades. But now the Clean Water Act is under attack.
Developers, mining companies and other polluting interests are fighting to eliminate the longstanding protections for headwater streams and wetlands—opening them up to oil spills, pollution and filling.
Please let your representatives know that clean water matters for our communities by taking a moment to email a letter to the editor of your local newspaper.

:: "The Christ said that He was found even in the smallest grain of sand.
Complete Open Mindedness, Complete Forgiveness,
True Vision comes when we see the Christ in everyone of our brothers.
And these brothers aren't only of the human kind...
they are the dolphin kind, the canine kind, the feline kind, etc.
Even a blade of grass contains the essence of the living Christ in it.
You could but look at it and see it perfect beauty if you tried.
:: It is Possible to Live in Peace...
If someone with courage and vision
can rise to lead in nonviolent action,
the winter of despair can, in the twinkling
of an eye, be turned into the summer of hope.
Nonviolence is not a garment to put on and
off at will. Its seat is in the heart, and it must be
an inseparable part of our being.
If a single person achieves the highest kind of love
It will be sufficient to neutralize the hate of millions.
If we are to reach real peace in this world, and if we are
To carry on a real war against war, we shall have to
Begin with the children.
The future depends on what we do in the present.
