this reef is computer controlled. it is an upgrade from my 29 gallon reef that was up for 5 years and survived hurricane katrina. 72 hours worth of backup power dynamic switch. only comes on when power is out. and solar panel with 50v max for survival more than 72 hours. went 2.5 weeks after katrina when i had my 29 gallon. yes there is a tang in a 55 gallon . Hate on it. haha i had one in a 29 for 2 to 3 years only died cause of pump failure. but looking back i wouldnt put one in tank that small nymore. i spoil my fish tho. they are in a stable environment i recently stressed out a couple of my corals by adding too much calcium :( u can see that in the video. i spoil all my fish. they eat only the best. ( Sushi grade sea weed) Aquacontroller i added it on bluetooth and its networked through a software called hamachi and realvnc. encrypted 256bit connection. long password. Can be viewed and controlled nywhere around the world :) Fans are computer controlled .. no chiller . over the summer the hottest it reached was 82 degrees only briefly and because it was really hot outside that day and the airconditioner in the house wasnt on all the way. temp average 78- 79 all year round. ph 8.2 onboard UV sterilizer video by andie jean. thinking bout starting a local buisiness setting up computer system and networks for hardcore aquarists.
