Title: MEGALODON SIGHTING -- NEW ZEALAND DIVE CAVE
Added: Aug 15, 2011
Author: pixelopolis
Duration: 0:52
Description:
Prehistoric Megalodons are believed to be extinct, however, as with other "extinct" sea animals that have since cropped up, some megalodons seem to have survived, possibly living deep in the ocean. Photo of this juvenile megalodon taken in Cape Foulwind, New Zealand dive cave.

Apr 4, 2013 - I'm sorry guys but the Megolodon is exthnct. Such a creature would prey on whales close to coastlines and simply couldn't go unnoticed. But don't fret, there are though rare, exceptionally large specimens of the Great White upwards of 6, 7 and even 8 metres.
zzReVamp Says:
Apr 5, 2013 - Yeah I agree, Megalodon would probably have the same habits as the great white and stay closer to the coast.
Isabella Strange Says:
Apr 11, 2013 - How would you know
Steve Peters Says:
Apr 16, 2013 - but megalodon can grow up to 18 meters. and will (since they are sooo rare) try not to be seen.
zzReVamp Says:
Apr 16, 2013 - Are you making a point? Yes, megalodon would be substantially larger than the great white IF it still existed...which is highly unlikely...
Zonnica Robertson Says:
Apr 19, 2013 - Fake, you can click on this link to see where the shark came from - cut, paste & photoshop much??? /watch?v=gYcTVRZCxEA

Apr 27, 2013 - I will argue that the giant squid was a myth until recently. Many people have reported giant dark hued sharks off the Myranas Trench. If Megalodon still exist it would adapt to an eco system. If that eco system is the deepest sea. chances are it would be a very dark color. If its diet was reduced it would be smaller, scavenge, ambush, and hunt. It is most likely highly aware of its environment and avoids peculiar lights, and cameras. If it hunts giant squid, its harder to catch than a squid.
MrArsenic4u Says:
Apr 27, 2013 - Megalodon is much like Bigfoot. Lots of evidence and eye witness accounts to suggest it exist but nothing really to prove it.

May 2, 2013 - Ok well it might b a fake just bc there isnt a kloptic oceanographic institute. But he wouldn't b dead bc i think the shark would b dead bc its obviously stuck. Maybe it followed a creature into the cave and got stuck. Idk but considering humans lived along side with the dinosaurs it could still b out there.
