As a result of the Tsunami disaster of 26 Dec 2004, coral reefs around Pi Pi islands at Krabi province, Thailand, have suffered from intense large-scale damage.
'Coral Rehabitation' is a set of procedures trying to reestablish corals at the affected area. The event depicted in this video was an impressively highly organized effort involving
-the Royal Thai Navy
-Dive tour operators from Krabi and Phuket provinces
-Volunteer Activists
-Students
and has been organized by
-the Phuket Center for Marine Biology.
