May 22, 2008 - What is the name of the trigger that you have with the black body and pink tail? Is it aggressive or passive for a trigger?

ilcala Says:

May 22, 2008 - The fish is called a Pink-tailed Trigger. Typically it is a more passive trigger compared to others in its family. This one, however, has been quite the bruiser.

Jul 30, 2008 - the lionfish was removed from the tank due to its increasing size. no chromis were lost, however.

Mar 16, 2009 - nice! i really like it. i think you should put some or more live rock in there for your chromis, i know that they feel safe in their schools, but they would really like the little hiding places :)

Sep 28, 2009 - thats a little packed, even for a 210 gallon. a volitan lionfish with chromis? triggerfish and lookdowns...not to mention lookdowns are pelagic, i think you need at least a 500g.

Feb 10, 2010 - that lion fish is going to eat all them chromis 1 by 1 haha

brandon429 Says:

Feb 11, 2010 - the lookdowns will have to go in a year/clean tank tho with heavy filtration it could work but that's really a high bioload. A 2 year update will answer all the questions...

aminon80 Says:

Feb 25, 2010 - wow!!! impressive!

tsns1 Says:

May 19, 2010 - Unlike anything seen before. Triggers and Lions and Damsels...

karsseboomh22 Says:

Apr 11, 2011 - loose the fake coral and just get some live rock. people dont use fake corals like the 80s anymore.

Larry Concio Says:

Apr 27, 2011 - Oh Brother. 3 Lookdown's in a 210 with all those other fish. They need more like a 2,100 instead of 210.

DarksideMuzik Says:

Nov 29, 2011 - that lionfish is surrounded by food ... wow
