Jul 2, 2009 - lets get this straight. vinegar in small amounts does not harm your tank? (small amounts meaning the amount on the surfaces of the power head after a good soak)
LimpitsReef Says:
Jul 2, 2009 - No, the vinegar gets rinsed off anyway after soaking.

Jul 19, 2009 - Can I use vineger mixing with ro/di water or do i had to use 100% vineger?
LimpitsReef Says:
Jul 19, 2009 - 100% vinegar works best, watering it down will make it less effective.

Mar 19, 2010 - how long can you have your tank with the pumps? since it takes 24 hours for you to clean the tank wouldn't that hurt the coral with no flow like that?
LimpitsReef Says:
Mar 19, 2010 - That is why I have a spare pump that I can put into place while cleaning the other one.

Apr 9, 2010 - actually as long as you keep up with your water changes... Algae isn't really mcuh of a problem.. maintenance isn't bad at all either... and you'd probably be much happier sittin in front of your tank rather than watching videos of other people's tanks haha

Aug 5, 2010 - i think i dont have enough flow in my reef tank but not sure i have a powerhead that does 1100 lph is this enough for a 120 litre tank
skiergd011013 Says:
Aug 13, 2010 - only one months worth of coralline algae? my koralias took a good 6 months to become covered. is it that the more older and mature a tank gets the faster the coralline will grow?
LimpitsReef Says:
Aug 14, 2010 - A mature tank with proper parameters will grow coraline quickly.
