This is a section of coral reef south of the Lake Worth inlet offshore of Palm Beach, Florida damaged by an anchor dragged by a freighter. The damage is about 5 feet wide by 300 feet long and was strong enough to pry 3-5 foot boulders off the rocky substrate, damaging several stony corals, and dozens of gorgonians and sponges.
