Seahorse Tank Renovated!

Title: Seahorse Tank Renovated!

Added: Nov 5, 2007

Duration: 5:25

Description:
This is my one remaining seahorse. Sadly the male (The Maroone/Purple pony from the other video) died about a month after that video was shot. The female (who used to be more of a yellow/orange colour) has taken to her new surroundings, and changed colour entirely. This is here with her new buddies, a yellow coral goby, a lyretail blenny, a green spotted mandarin, and a handful of snails. she seems to like hanging out amongst the rock looking for food.

Mar 3, 2008 - Lovely music! Love your aquascaping. Do you know what species the seahorse is?

May 20, 2008 - I don't think it would have a negative effect. It might even enhance the lighting, as it will act like a mirror of sorts.

Mar 5, 2009 - fantastic new take on the tank :) No more plants? Where the plants plastic or live, I forget?? I'm sorry to hear about the male dying :( Will you ever think to buy a new love interest for her?? :)

Mar 6, 2009 - No more plants... in fact no more tank! I haven't had this setup for quite some time now. the one remaining seahorse did pass away, and a anemone and clownfish moved into this tank... or perhaps that was before the seahorses.... I forget. I won't be getting any more seahorses, they are just too special to keep in a glass box :)

Mar 6, 2009 - I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the time you had with that tank, and i do know what you mean about the 'being in a glass box' thing :) Where the plants plastic or live? :) Thankyou for your video :D

Mar 6, 2009 - The plants were plastic, sorry I forgot to mention that. You need some pretty serious lighting to keep marine plants alive, and this tank only had standard fluoro's. Thanks for commenting :)

Jul 17, 2009 - Maybe she changed colors because she was sad that her boyfriend died. It's like when we wear black at funerals. It's sad. Poor girl.
