Nearly half of the U.S. coral reef ecosystems are considered to be in "poor" or "fair" condition according to a new analysis of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA. Apr 8, 2009 - I am glad of all the random pointless videos posted on YouTube that there actually happens to be some educational ones that inform us of the different problems that exist in the world today. By having a single video like this it could raise the awareness to thousands of youtubers that have no idea of the problems surrounding them.

Mar 27, 2011 - The Ocean is the great lung of the earth. What better wa to kill ourselves off then to kill our lungs. Ask any smoker.... "We will all die someday, smoking increases the quality of my life" Is the most common answer. We need to find a way to live in outer space. Not to live in outer space, but to be able to live on our little poluted planet. Also look for "the garbage patch".

May 22, 2012 - this one has 4000 views. chris browns new hit=18,000,000. you do the math ! putting hope into mankind becoming enlightened, conscious, aware or anything but apathetic lowest common denominator lazy fools is a waste of time and energy, imo. its already over, and i'm not really a negative person, just realist. its time to just survive and enjoy whatever ride we're in for. mass global change probably will not happen until its forced by lack of resources. smile and enjoy today!

May 22, 2012 - oh, but if there is any hope for mankind and life on earth as we know it, i believe we must look to the fungi and bacteria.

Jun 30, 2012 - Who the heck is Chris Brown? What new hit? As for "whatever ride we're in for", well mass global change, via +feedback effects of the oceans, WILL occur long long before we face a lack of resources (aka minerals, coal, oil, uranium extraction. AUstralia is currently agonising over stopping boat people. Before I die, c2030, the shit will be slamming into the fan. I live to see the end of the world. But not by choice.

Jun 30, 2012 - PS: But I don't say that because I'm some stupid THEST. I'm quite the opposite. I'm a very sensible Atheist.

Jul 1, 2012 - the mass global change i was meaning was the one where the mass of humans, globally, alter how they live and impact the earth. but yeah, it'll go how it goes. i've had a hell of a time here on Earth. idk who ol chris brown is either, but he pops up on my screen from time to time. thats why i used that reference.

Jul 3, 2012 - Yeh, can be depressing. But at least we have Chris Brown. Whoever he is. I could be famous too, if I wanted to be. Ha!
