Dec 27, 2012 - Calcium levels and dkH seem to affect it and flow levels. Also these guys get about 1-2 pieces of small dry food fall on it per fish feeding. Placement may play a part as the mantels of these can rest on either rock or sand, which seem to give it extra support.
