Description:
Visible across the bay from the dive centre and the hotel Mashraba is a mere 2-minute jeep journey away. It contains an array of interesting fish life and is often swamped with massive shoals in the late afternoon. It feels as if all the fish are returning home after a hard days swim! Mashraba is particularly well known for 2 distinct features. The first is an area called the Swim through, which lies at 37 metres and is a short natural tunnel at the sea base made of rock and coral. Obviously you need a deep specialty for us to take you to this one. The second is an enormous and stunningly beautiful formation called Romans Rock. A huge lump of rock and coral implanted on a very steep sandy slope. Its not uncommon to see Napoleon Fish here, they're huge! Additionally Mashraba Reef is crawling with Crocodile fish.
